Huawei has presented a new model in its popular P Smart range of midrange smartphones. The P Smart 2021 has a 20:9 screen with hole for the front camera and a 5000mAh battery.
The manufacturer didn’t give a grand presentation to it, but the P Smart 2021 product page did appear on the manufacturer’s Austrian site. The phone follows the P Smart 2020 and 2019. The phone is 16.6×7.7cm in size at a thickness of 9.3mm and weighing 206 grams.
The device runs on a HiSilicon Kirin 710A-soc, a midrange processor from the manufacturer made on the 14nm procedé from China’s SMIC. Huawei does 4GB of working memory and 128GB of storage.
The phone has no Google apps on board and runs on Android 10-based Android 10 upon release. The device has a 6.67″ LCD of 15.5x7cm with a surface area of 107.4 square centimeters and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. At the top is a hole in the screen for the 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 lens.
The rear primary camera has a 48 megapixel resolution with f/1.8 lens, assisted by an 8-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle lens, macro camera and camera for depth measurements. The 5000mAh battery can be charged with 22.5W. The device comes out for 229 euros.
