Bose introduces first gaming headset under QC 35 name

Manufacturer Bose has announced its first gaming headset. It is a variant of the QC 35 II, a regular bose headset. Without the microphone, the headphones can also be used for listening to music on the go, says the manufacturer.

To the headset for gaming and music, Bose has the on the product page about a 2-in-1 headset. The QC 35 II Gaming Headset, like the regular version, has active noise reduction. The module with the microphone can be connected via a 3.5mm port. Inside the module is a tree mic that has to suppress background noise

The battery lasts 40 hours with wired gaming according to Bose, whereas with wireless use it would take 20 hours. With 15 minutes of charging, the battery is full for an eighth, good for 2.5 hours wireless and 5 hours of wired use.

Bose is only going on sale in the United States and Canada for the time being, while a release in China should follow soon. It is not known when and if the headset will appear in the Benelux. The headset costs $330 in the US, about the same price as a regular QC 35 II.
